A series of 5 races held once a month April – Aug usually on a Wed evening. Distances usually around 5/6 miles. Min age 16.
Booths Decorators League (also known as Derby Runner League).
A series of 5 races held once a month April – Aug usually on a Tues evening. Distances usually around 5 miles. Min age 14.
Midland Road Relays
- 12 Stage Relay (March)
- 6 Stage (September)
Important targeted club fixtures held in Sutton Park, Birmingham. Men and women’s races with the club entering more than one team.

Notts Mini League
This is a local league for Nottinghamshire clubs with events for under 11’s – under 15’s. Contact team managers for entry.
YDL
This league is for under 13’s and under 15’s. There are 4 fixtures per season, Two athletes are allowed per category, ask your coach for details.
Notts Development League
This is a new league with events for under 17’s, seniors and vets. Road runners and vets are encouraged to take part. Four fixtures per season at tracks in Nottinghamshire.
North of England League
This is the principle league for under 17’s and senior competition. Four matches each season against clubs from Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire.
Nottinghamshire County Championships
Events for all age groups from Under 11 to veterans. Entry is via Notts AAA website.
Open Track and Field Meetings

- Doncaster
- Sheffield
The above clubs host open events throughout the season. Anyone can enter with events for all age groups.
Autumn / Winter
North Mids X/C League
This is the principle league for cross country with events for all age groups. under 17’s and senior competition. Four matches each season against clubs from across east midlands.
Booths X/C League
A series of 5 races held on a Sunday morning at venues in Notts and Derby. Distances usually around 5 miles. Min age 16
Notts Mini League – X/C
This is a local league for Nottinghamshire clubs with events for under 11’s – under 15’s. No selection – just turn up and compete.
Notts Mini League – Sportshall (Indoor competition)
This is a local league for Nottinghamshire clubs with events for under 11’s – under 15’s. Contact team managers for entry. Fixtures are normally held in Mansfield at Oak Tree LC.
Nottinghamshire County Championships
Events for all age groups from Under 11 to veterans. Entry is via Notts AAA website.
Midland and National X/C Championships
Championship races for under 13 to vets held at venues around the country.
Open Indoor Track and Field Meetings
Competitions are held at the EIS indoor track at Sheffield throughout the winter. Anyone can enter with events for all age groups.
